ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Successfully planned and implemented the development of over twelve properties consisting of twenty-five hundred (2,500) units of affordable rental housing at a cost of over two hundred seventy-five million dollars ($275,000,000). 

Supervised/Managed the planning and construction of seven (7) single family projects consisting of approximately one hundred fifty (150) affordable single-family homes at a cost of over eleven million dollars ($11,000,000) 

Managed the rehabilitation of over one hundred sixty (160) single family homes at a cost of over six million dollars ($6,000,000). 

Initiated and managed the implementation and expansion of Homeownership Education & Financial Counseling Program, which has qualified and/or provided counseling to several thousand families for homeownership. 

Initiated and completed economic development projects which included the Historic Hurt Building (10,000 square feet) and Opa-locka Historic Train Station (3,000 square feet) at a cost of approximately two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000). 

Initiated and managed the implementation of a Commercial Façade Program for ten (10) small business owners/operators in a small Central Business District (CBD) totaling four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000). 

Initiated and partnered with Florida Memorial University for implementation of a $500,000 Small Business Education and Loan Program for 10 local small business owners. 

Solimar Apartments

Homestead, Florida

Legacy Alliance Co. was a Partner in the development of Solimar Apartments located South Miami-Dade, Florida.  The property consist of one hundred eighty (180) newly constructed units available to low and moderate income families.  This development was financed by Florida Housing Finance Corporation with low-income housing tax credits. 

Park Towers Apartments

Miami, Florida

Legacy Alliance Co. was a Partner in the acquisition and rehabilitation of Park Tower Apartments located in Miami, Florida.  This property consist of one hundred forty-four (144) affordable units.  The newly rehabilitate units are available to low and moderate income senior residents.  This development was a Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversion. 

Grove Pointe Apartments

Ruskin, Florida

Legacy Alliance Co. was a Partner in the financial restructuring and rehabilitation of Grove Pointe Apartments.  The property consisted of eighty (80) affordable housing units for low-income fisher and farming individuals and families. The property was sold in 2022.
